In 2006 The Raindrops & Boondocks tour hit the road with two legendary performers playing together on over 30 package shows.  Billy Joe Royal, and BJ Thomas perform more than 30 of their hits along with duets like “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling.”  Due to overwhelming success we’ve decided to offer this show again for 2007!

Both artists perform a variety of styles musically.  Billy Joe Royal has remained true to the style that first excited both him and his fans – a combination of influences ranging from country music,  black gospel, to Motown and the rest of the 60’s pop explosion – delivered with flair and sincerity. It was that rich musical heritage he carried from clubs to the stages of Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, to concert venues all over the country, and it’s what he still serves up like the master showman he is.

Since the mid-1960s  BJ Thomas has become one of the most recognized and respected voices of the American musical landscape. He has impacted many areas of popular music with 15 Top 40 pop hits, 10 Top 40 country hits, 5 Grammys, 2 Dove awards and 15 Gold and Platinum Records. Over 70 million records have been sold during his career.   He is the only artist to successfully move to the top of three music genres not as a crossover and also have crossover success.
