Since her debut as an American Idol Top 12 finalist in February of 2010, Lacey has appeared as a musical guest and interview subject on Late Night with David Letterman, the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Today Show, Wendy Williams, Access Hollywood and E! She has been featured as a musical performer who has shared the stage with the likes of Christina Aguilera, Alice Cooper, Janet Jackson, Third Day and others but has also been an inspirational speaker at over 50 major inspirational events throughout the country just this year. Lacey, eager to get music out to her fans in 2011, released her debut EP “Let it Go” as an independent release. Writing, recording, and       co-producing her first project has refreshingly set her apart from the usual post-idol personalities.

Upon meeting Lacey for the first time, you’ll get a sense of her uniqueness and her likeability. "I was super shy as a young girl, very timid," Lacey told AOL Television earlier this year, "...and I just decided one day that I didn't want to be shy anymore. I knew I had bigger things to do in life than be in the background." When asked to describe herself, Lacey reacts, "I guess you could say I’m a down-to-earth girl with big dreams, quirky style, a romantic heart and an independent streak.”

Lacey looks back at her Idol experience as an amazing opportunity and gift toward her future career. "I had millions of people around the world every week learning my name, my face, my voice, and hopefully, my essence as a person. I learned not only how to connect musically and emotionally to an audience in studio and through the camera's eye, but also how to deal with the stress, criticism, discipline and fan-related aspects of the business. What better way to jump start a girl’s music career?”
